Après des mois d'attente, j'ai enfin reçu LE coup de fil m'annonçant qu'on avait mon placement ! Je ne peux pas décrire à quel point j'étais heureuse et émue en apprenant que je partait en Californie !

J'irai donc passer mon année à Chico en Californie, à environ 200 km au nord de San Francisco et 150 km au nord de Sacramento. C'est une petite ville de 88 000 habitants.
After months of waiting, I finally got THE call telling me where I will spend the next year ! I can't decide how happy and emotional when I knew that I was going to California !

Ma famille d'accueil
J'ai (enfin !) ma famille mais elle n'est que temporaire. J'irai vivre chez Amy, une mère célibataire qui a deux enfants (Daniel & Gabriella) qui ne sont plus chez Amy. La famille a l'air très artistique et dynamique. Elle me correspond donc très bien ! Malheureusement, ils vont déménager en octobre, je vais donc devoir changer de famille ... Mais je suis sûre que ma seconde famille sera super aussi !
Mon lycée
Je ne sais pas encore exactement dans quel lycée je serai. Je suis inscrite à Chico High School mais ma mère d'accueil essaie de faire en sorte que j'aille à Inspire School of Arts and Sciences (lycée où étaient ses enfants), et j'avoue que j'aimerais beaucoup y aller. Mais je ferai sûrement un autre post quand j'en saurai plus ! 🙊
My host family
I (finally !) got to know my host family, but it is just a temporary one. I'm going to live at Amy's home. She's a single mother who has two children (Daniel & Gabriella) that aren't at home anymore. My family seems very artistic and dynamic. In that way, it fits me very well ! Badly, they are going to move in October so I will have to have another host family ... But I'm sure that my second family will be amazing too !
My high school
I don't exactly know in which high school I'm going to go. I'm enrolled in Chico High School but my host mother is trying to make me go to Inspire School of Arts and Sciences (that's where her children graduated), and I have to that I would love to go there. But I'm probably going to do another post when I will know more about it ! 🙊
