Thanksgiving

Je suis en vacances depuis une semaine pour Thanksgiving, et ça a été l'occasion de faire plein de choses !

I'm on holidays for a week for Thanksgiving, and I have had the opportunity to do many things !

Sortie entre étudiants d'échange

Mercredi, nous sommes allés faire du shopping au Galleria Mall à Roseville, avant d'aller voir le Capitole à Sacramento. C'est un très beau bâtiment ! On est même rentrés à l'intérieur pour voir la coupole. C'était magnifique avec les décorations de Noël ! En fin de journée, on est allé à la patinoire. C'était vraiment une journée très sympa !

Day out with the exchange students

On Wednesday, we went shopping in the Galleria Mall in Roseville, then we went to the Capitol in Sacramento. It's a beautiful building ! We even went inside to see the dome. It was awesome with the Christmas decorations ! By the end of the day, we went to the iceskating ring. It really was an amazing day !

Le jour de Thanksgiving

La fête traditionnelle par excellence ! On est monté le matin à Almanor, puis on a préparé la tarte aux pommes, la dinde et les accompagnements. Hannah a décoré la table. Avant d'attaquer le repas, on a tous dit pour quoi/qui on était reconnaissant. On a mangé, ensuite on a fait une petite balade nocturne avec les chiens avant de manger la tarte. C'était un très bon repas !

Thanksgiving Day

The quintessential traditional celebration ! We went up to Almanor in the morning, then we prepared the apple pie, the turkey and the side dishes. Hannah decorated the table. Before starting the dinner, we all said for what/who we were thankful for. We ate, then we went on a little night walk with the dogs before eating the pie. It was a really good dinner !

Black Friday

La journée après Thanksgiving est une journée où beaucoup de magasins ont de super soldes. Suzanne, Hannah et moi sommes donc allées à Reno (Nevada) pour l'occasion ! On a fait 7h de shopping, 2 centres commerciaux et je en sais combien de magasins. On a passé vraiment un bon moment. En quittant Reno le soir, on pouvait voir les grands hotels/casinos illuminés, ça faisait penser à Las Vegas.

Black Friday

The day after Thanksgiving is a day when many stores have super good deals. Suzanne, Hannah and I drove to Reno (Nevada) just for that day ! We shopped for 7 hours, we went to 2 malls and I don't know how many shops. We really had a good time. At night, when we left Reno, we could see all of the hotels/casinos enlightened, it kind of looked like Las Vegas.
