Grande tradition du lycée américain: le bal de promo! J'ai eu la chance de participer à deux bals, celui de mon lycée et celui du grand lycée où la majorité des étudiants d'échange sont.
Great American tradition: prom! I got the opportunity to go to two proms, the one organized by my high school and another one put up by the big high school where most of the exchange students are.
Bal de promo de Chico High
Le 29 Avril, je suis allée avec mon groupe d'étudiants d'échange à leur bal de promo. On est allé prendre des photos à Bidwell Mansion puis on a mangé le diner dans un restaurant méditerranéen avant d'aller au bal. La salle de réception était super bien décorée, "une nuit sous les étoiles", au bord d'un lac. J'ai beaucoup dansé et je me suis bien amusée.
Chico High's prom
On April 29th, I went with my group of exchange students to their prom. We took pictures at the Bidwell Mansion then went to dinner downtown at a mediterranean restaurant before going to the dance. The venue was very well decorated, "a night under the stars", by the lake. I danced a lot and had a blast!
Bal de promo d'Inspire
Le 13 mai, rebelotte! Pour commencer, j'ai passé 3h chez le coiffeur puis j'ai vite dû finir de me préparer avant d'aller diner. Avec mon "prom date", Kyle, on est allé manger au restaurant puis on a pris une glace en attendant que le bal commence. C'était super car il y avait une photographe dans la salle, j'ai donc pu prendre plein de photos avec mes amis! On a eu des chansons chantées en live par une élève, et même deux élèves ont fait un duo à la Dirty Dancing. C'était super cool. 🙊
Inspire's prom
On May 13th, here we went again! To start with, I spent 3h at the hair dresser then I quickly had to get ready before dinner. My prom date, Kyle, and I went to the restaurant then got ice cream waiting for prom to start. I was great because there was a photographer there, so I took lots of pictures with my friends! Some songs were sung live by one of the students, and even two other students danced like in the move Dirty Dancing. It was fun. 🙊
